- Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2022The only acceptable part of the book was the cover. Otherwise, it was a reprinting botch job of smudged & run together sentences with many total blackout pages, making it only fit for the garbage.

5.0 out of 5 stars The cleverest person you've never heard of
I've always been fascinated by Hazlitt, not least for his extraordinary private life and his erudition and his fascinating insights into the theatre of his time and of the actor Edmund Kean in particular. A brilliant man with a brilliant, original mind. Worth getting to know.
